DentalCareMatters is a website by Dr Barry Hughes BDS, a family dentist.  Barry has over 10 years’ experience in dealing with all sorts of dental issues.  He is combining his dental knowledge and love of web technology to build up a resource for everyone to use.

The aim?  Simple, clear dental information… Empowering you with the knowledge of how to ensure healthy teeth and gums for life.

Barry lives in N. Ireland with his wife Jenny and their daughters Rosa and Sophia.

 

 

Why DentalCareMatters.com?

This site has been set up by an experienced dentist.  All the advice found has therefore been written by a dentist!

We all know that the internet is full of advice on all matters, and dentistry is no different. But how do you know you can trust the information you are reading?  There are many excellent sites out there written by dental professionals, but there is also an increasing amount of dental misinformation to be found on the web.

So, make sure you know you are getting advice from a professional!  All of our advice is written by an experienced dentist, Dr Barry Hughes.

 

Like any healthcare information site, this site is in no way a replacement for getting advice from your own dentist/doctor.  We aim to arm you with tips on healthy teeth for life, but there is no replacement to the tailored, personal advice you will receive from your own dentist.
